OMI JAZZ

"TIGER KING"

Available for purchase!!

The Omi Jazz is a collaborative creation by Scott R., the late Les Moore, and myself. It features a distinctive super chamber slab-style electric body that may appear solid but is actually 85%. This innovative design delivers a warmer, more open sound, making it ideal for both straight-ahead jazz and blues. The Omi Jazz perfectly aggressive picking with a mellow style, smoothly transitioning from matinee jazz to after-hours blues without the need for a guitar change! While the neck and body resemble a solid body, its floating neck position pickguard-mounted pickup, hand-carved rear-mounted tailpiece, and adjustable floating bridge embody the essence of a fully hollow jazz archtop guitar. The conveniently positioned volume and tone control thumbwheels on the side of the pickguard ensure they remain secure during performances—just set them and forget them!

The Tiger King gets its name from the rare Tiger Myrtle used to craft bridge, pickguard, and tailpiece. This unique wood showcases stunning tiger-like stripes and warm golden brown tones that beautifully enhance the violet and tortoise celluloid binding of this exceptional instrument. Sourced exclusively from Tasmania, the ultra-rare Tiger Myrtle makes this guitar truly one-of-a-kind, and it is available for purchase.

The Tiger King comes with Thomastik Jazz Swing strings, a Mono M80 gig bag, and a high-quality Ernie Ball cord. For pricing and information, contact at Michael@cowbranddesign.com
