The Elmer AP-5 "Doolittle" is number 5 of 6 in the Elmer Guitar series to be crafted from the Vintage WWII Aircraft poplar For this build, I choose to also include specially pickup surrounds milled Duralumin for a more aircraft like identity. Also, the "Doolittle" name is inspired by the Thompson Trophy air racer and military aviation general / pilot, James Harold Doolittle.
